In Client Technology, we are seeking a Data Analyst who will join the Fabric Insights team. We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for transforming data into actionable insights. This role will be instrumental in analyzing data, building data models, and creating a Data Vault for our Silver layer within the medallion architecture in Azure Databricks. The ideal candidate will work closely with our data engineering team to extract value from our data, understand business needs, and define the relationships between data sources to develop optimized views and tables for customers.Who is Fabric Insights team?
Fabric Insights acts as the main source of accurate metadata in EY Fabric. It promotes streamlined access to up-to-date data, aids efficient operations, and enhances decision-making across EY Fabric, fostering visibility and minimizing development costs.

As a Data Analyst within Fabric Insights team, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and operational efficiencies. This position is designed for a professional skilled in analyzing data, building sophisticated data models, and contributing to the development of the data layers. You will be pivotal in extracting value from our different sources of data, understanding intricate business needs, and crafting the relationships between data sources to develop comprehensive views and tables. Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement a Data Vault and data layers in Azure Databricks.
Develop and maintain data models that accurately represent business processes and relationships between data entities.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data analytics solutions.
Create and manage customers views and tables that provide a consolidated and refined view of data for reporting and analysis.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance and validation processes.
Utilize advanced analytics tools to provide predictive and prescriptive analytics that support strategic initiatives.
Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports and visualizations.Requirements
Proficient in SQL and experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks and experience with the medallion architecture.
Familiarity with data integration tools like Azure Data Factory.
Ability to write and optimize complex queries for data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and manipulation.Desired Experience
Understanding of Data Vault methodology and its implementation.
Experience working in large organizations and agile environments.
Proven track record of delivering data analytics solutions that drive business value.
Experience with cloud-based analytics and data management services, particularly Azure.
Familiarity with machine learning and statistical analysis methods.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Desired Certifications
